Marietta Wild Burro Range is also known for its a ghost town. Ruins remain of a bygone mining town. The burros that roam here are descendants of burros that hauled gold and silver for mans quest for riches. The thanks that the burros received for working their will cabooses to the bone was freedom. The miners released the burros into the wild where they thrived.
